"A Fresh New Take on Political Debate"

"The COHEN SIDE" Radio Show, Blog, and Social Networking Sites are dedicated to shining a light on bias, extreme views, and irrationality in political and cultural commentary. The goal, whatever the topic, is to present alternatives to the usual conversation that challenge pre-conceived ideas, promote inquiry, and create civil discourse.
 
David Cohen is the author of "The COHEN SIDE."  David has been involved in politics and community organizing for over 15 years.  A former Communications Director for the Paul Tsongas Presidential Campaign, Atlanta Area Director for Lead or Leave, and Associate Director for the New England Anti-Defamation League, David brings a wealth of experience in progressive causes, civil rights issues, and anti-bias education.  David was heavily involved in the early formation of the Save Darfur movement in Massachusetts and while with the ADL worked to promote Hate Crimes legislation as well as anti-bullying programs in schools. 

David has served as adjunct faculty at Fisher College where he taught Government and Politics, has served on the Teacher Advisroy Board for Facing History and Ourselves, and he has also worked extensively in Israel bringing Jews and Arabs together for genuine political dialogue. 

David holds a BA from Brandeis University in History, has studied European History and Interntational Law at Kings's College in Lodon, and holds an MA from Boston University in International Political History.
