David Cohen comes at the issues from the left and debates over immigration reform, foreign affairs, preserving the country's economic safety net, and civil rights will be at the center of David's comentary. Chick Morse will come at the issues from the right and will counter with arguments about small government, stricter enforcement of immigration laws, lower taxes, and a greater focus on Islamic terrorism.
The COHEN SIDE will take an honest look at the most important issues of the day from all points along the ideological spectrum. As an alternative to “talking points” punditry,” David and Chuck will dig beneath the surface and sort through the political gotcha-games that dominate our local and national politics. Topics for the show will be “ripped” directly from the latest headlines and guests will be interviewed to help listeners better understand the many different sides of any issue. If you think you’ve got an issue all figured out, then there’s probably another side – that’s The Cohen Side.
David has been involved in politics and community organizing for over 15 years. A former Communications Director for the Paul Tsongas Presidential Campaign, Atlanta Area Director for Lead or Leave, and Associate Director for the New England Anti-Defamation League, David brings a wealth of experience in progressive causes, civil rights issues, and anti-bias education. David has served as adjunct faculty at Fisher College where he taught Government and Politics and he has also worked extensively in Israel bringing together Jews and Arabs for genuine political dialogue. David holds a BA from Brandeis University in Political History and an MA from Boston University in International Political History.
Chuck Morse comes at the issues from the right. Chuck is a veteran conservative radio talk show host and advertising sales executive. In addition to co-hosting The Fairness Doctrine and other shows on WDIS-am in Boston, Morse has hosted the cable TV show, "Morse's Code.” A successful businessman, he is the former CEO of City Metro Enterprises, a national advertising/media distribution company. He has written op-eds for the Boston Globe, the Washington Times, World Net Daily, Newsmax, and Frontpage Magazine. He is the author of seven books, his latest, The Nazi Connection to Islamic Terrorism” is featured on World Net Daily.
